The JeepĀ® Wrangler is once again proving it’s the ultimate vehicle for adventure, starring in a new global campaign tied to the upcoming blockbuster Jurassic World Rebirth, which hits theatres July 2, 2025.

 

This exciting collaboration between Jeep and Universal Pictures continues a legacy that began over three decades ago with the original Jurassic Park, when Dr. Ian Malcolm first fled dinosaurs from the back seat of a 1992 Wrangler.

 

 

Jurassic Rated: Built for the Wild

In this latest campaign, the Jeep Wrangler isn’t just a prop, it’s a hero. The cinematic spot features the Wrangler navigating a prehistoric landscape filled with seven different dinosaur species, including the fearsome Tyrannosaurus, Velociraptor, Spinosaurus, and even a baby Aquilops.

 

Created by Industrial Light & Magic, the visual effects team behind the film’s dinosaurs, the ad captures the Wrangler in full action mode, showcasing its off-road prowess and legendary capability in extreme environments—even those populated by creatures from another era.

 

The campaign brings a unique twist to Jeep’s "Trail Rated" badge. According to Jeep CEO Bob Broderdorf, the Wrangler is now ā€œJurassic Ratedā€ā€”a playful nod to its unparalleled performance.

ā€œWhen dinosaurs are on the loose and adventure calls, you need serious capability—and let’s be real, nothing handles ferocious frontiers quite like a Jeep 4x4,ā€ he said.

Multi-Channel Campaign with Massive Reach

The marketing effort is extensive and immersive. A long-form video will launch across Jeep’s social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.

 

A 30-second television version will air nationally, while out-of-home placements include a dynamic digital billboard in New York City’s Times Square, featuring a Quetzalcoatlus soaring above the Jeep Wrangler in a stunning visual display.

 

Bringing the Jurassic to Dealerships

More than 2,000 Jeep dealerships across the U.S. will participate in the campaign with themed point-of-sale kits. These include dinosaur egg mirror hangers, claw and footprint decals, and eye-catching posters.

 

Jeep has also designed a first-of-its-kind Jurassic badge, which will be available in limited quantities for select customers, perfect for collectors and fans alike.

 

Wrangler 4xe Takes the Spotlight

The Jeep Wrangler 4xe, the brand’s electrified plug-in hybrid model, is playing a key role in the film’s promotional events.

 

It made a high-profile appearance on stage at Mexico City’s CCXP convention to kick off the press tour and will feature on the red carpet at the U.S. premiere in New York on June 23.

 

Easter Eggs and Future Jeep Teasers

Fans of both Jeep and Jurassic World should keep their eyes peeled. Much like Jeep’s Super Bowl commercial ā€œOwner’s Manual,ā€ this campaign includes an Easter egg: a subtle cameo of a future Jeep 4x4 model appears inside a dinosaur lab.

 

 

The ad was directed by Jeff Tomsic and produced by Community Films, with creative support from Chicago-based agency Highdive.

 

A History of Adventure

This isn’t the first time Jeep and the Jurassic franchise have teamed up. The partnership dates back to the original Jurassic Park in 1993 and has continued with memorable collaborations, including a 2018 Super Bowl ad and a campaign for Jurassic World Dominion in 2022.

However, this latest effort stands out for its scale and the sheer number of dinosaur species featured—the most ever in a Jeep-Jurassic spot.

Jurassic World Rebirth promises an epic summer adventure, with an all-star cast including Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali, and Jonathan Bailey navigating an island full of genetically engineered dinosaurs.
