Chrysler Canada Celebrates 100 Years At Windsor Assembly Plant

Chrysler Canada Celebrates 100 Years At Windsor Assembly Plant

There’s something truly special about turning 100—and Chrysler just did it in style! On June 22, 2025, the iconic brand celebrated a century of operations in Canada with a huge Family Day bash at the Windsor Assembly Plant. And let’s just say, it wasn’t your average birthday party.

Over 8,000 people showed up for a celebration that had it all: shiny cars, roaring engines, kid-friendly fun, and even a little hockey flair (because, Canada). From longtime employees to excited kids testing their slapshots in the Dodge Caravan Kids Fan Zone, everyone got to enjoy a little piece of Chrysler history and a big slice of fun.

On June 22, Chrysler held its 100 Years of Operations in Canada Family Day event for Windsor-area employees, retirees and their families at the Windsor Assembly Plant in Windsor, Ontario as a celebration of employee dedication and commitment to building world-class vehicles for over a century. With an estimated 8,000 people in attendance, highlights of the event included a Cars & Coffee car show which included nearly 200 brand new and vintage vehicle displays, with proceeds benefitting the Canadian Transportation Museum and Heritage Village, high performance thrill rides from Roadkill Nights powered by Dodge, interactive displays such as testing hockey skills in the Dodge Caravan Kids Fan Zone, a local vendors market, signing of a commemorative mural, music and entertainment, plant tours and more.

Cars, Coffee, and a Century of Cool

The day kicked off with a ā€œCars & Coffeeā€ car show that turned heads and revved engines. Nearly 200 vehicles—brand-new models and vintage beauties alike—lined up for admiring eyes.

The best part? Proceeds from the event went to the Canadian Transportation Museum and Heritage Village, keeping the history of Canadian transportation alive and thriving.

Guests also got to experience thrill rides courtesy of Roadkill Nights powered by Dodge (because what’s a Chrysler party without some horsepower?), check out local vendors, enjoy live music and entertainment, tour the Windsor plant, and even help create a commemorative mural.

It was part car show, part festival, part history lesson—and 100% fun.

Looking Back, and Shifting into the Future

The event wasn't just about celebrating the past—it was also a chance to spotlight what’s coming next for Chrysler. With 100 years under its belt, the brand is cruising confidently into the future.

Expect a refreshed Chrysler Pacifica in 2026 (yes, the same one that’s already the most awarded minivan ever), plus a brand-new crossover and a third vehicle inspired by the futuristic Halcyon concept. In short: it’s going to be a very exciting road ahead.

The Chrysler Halcyon Concept exemplifies a fully electrified future of the Chrysler brand that embraces sustainability-driven exterior and interior design, full autonomy paired with personalized driving experiences and futuristic technology that expands on the brand’s ā€œHarmony in Motionā€ ethos of customer-focused seamless connectivity.
