2014 Chrysler 300 Trim Levels
2014 Chrysler 300 Review
For sale at Unique Chrysler Burlington (between Oakville & Hamilton)
The 2014 Chrysler 300is a flagship sedan with power, luxury and reliability as standard. It's an imposing car with real presence, especially if you buy the SRT8 version. The redesign was so successful that there are no real changes except minor trim modification for 2014.
The Chrysler 300 is unmistakable. It's big, bulky and very American. It's also well designed, well-built and fully loaded. It's a capable full-size sedan in a market full of crossovers and smaller cars.
The earlier redesign made the 300 much easier on the eye. The softer lines, sloped front, long hood and fluted sides all added a softer, rounder presence without taking anything away. As redesigns go, it was a triumph. Nothing has changed for the 2014 model year in this regard.
Inside, there is lots of space for adult passengers, plenty of headroom and legroom to go round. Soft-touch materials abound, along with lots of interior trim, technical refinements and luxury. An 8.4 inch touchscreen comes as standard with an easy to use menu system.
Under the hood is a 3.6-liter V6 Pentastar engine that delivers 292 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. Go for the SRT8 and you get a meaty 6.4-liter V8 that delivers 470 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque. Drive is sent to the rear or all wheels via a five-speed automatic transmission.
The 2014 Chrysler 300is available in six trim levels, the 300, 300S, 300C, 300C John Varvatos Luxury Edition, SRT8 Core and SRT8. There are literally hundreds of iterations with options packages and upgrades, so let's keep things simple.
The base 300 comes with 17-inch alloys, auto lighting, heated mirrors, keyless entry and ignition, cruise control, that LCD touchscreen, climate control, leather interior, heated front seats, Bluetooth and CD audio with satellite radio and iPod connectivity.
The SRT8 comes with 20-inch alloys, that V8 motor, sports suspension, front and rear parking sensors, xenon headlights, sports seats, remote start, fog lights, heated and cooled cup holders, leather interior, adjustable pedals, heated and ventilated front seats, rear camera and loads more.
Even the base model of the 2014 Chrysler 300 is loaded with goodies and a healthy dose of luxury. This is Chrysler's flagship sedan and they are making sure everyone knows it!
Despite its size, the Chrysler 300 isn't a barge. It floats more than drives and would be perfect for road trips and for those who want to commute in style. Test drive the Chrysler 300 for yourself today at Unique Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram!
